We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas! We were lucky enough to have my dad come out for Christmas. It was wonderful to have him out here. It was also really good timing because Noah and Ava both got sick while he was here so it was nice to have super Grandpa on hand. (And they are both doing just fine now. :)

Noah and Ava love finger foods and trying to feed themselves with spoons. The only problem is that this is the end result of their adventures:

Noah and Ava's First Birthday!
In March of 2009, we found out we were pregnant. By the end of the month, we found out we were having twins. We had 36 weeks to prepare for their arrival and still nothing could have prepared us for the all consuming, life changing love that we have for these two little people. They have been and continue to be such a huge blessing to us and we are so grateful to have them in our lives. This first year has been filled with so many changes and challenges but in the end, every moment, every sleepless night, every tear, every diaper was worth it. We are truly excited to see what the future holds for Ava and Noah and are honored to share it with them.
Ava and Noah celebrated their first birthday on the 24th of October. In Korean tradition, the first birthday, or Dol, is a very important milestone. We tried to incorporate both Korean and American traditions. We had a great time and Noah and Ava handled all the excitement like champs!

Thank you to all of our family and friends for all of the love and support you've given our family this year. If it takes a village to raise a child, it must take a small city to raise two! A special thank you to Daniel for all your help with the Dol! You are amazing!
